    The University of Portsmouth wanted a new website to better represent their university. The new website is more focused on potential applicants and helps in choosing which course to study. The site is responsive and works equally well whether browsing on a smartphone during an open day or on a laptop at home.

  • Kyle Bean

    Kyle Bean is an illustrator and maker of things. His site is a place for him to show the things he has made on the web. His site uses resolution independent graphics so it looks great on Hi-DPI devices. It also uses the History API to make page transitions really fast.

  • Clearleft

    One aspect of the Clearleft site that I worked on was creating an icon font which we named Cleardings. This font ensures that icons look sharp regardless of the DPI at which they are rendered.

  • Wellcome Library

    As part of a five-year digitisation strategy, the Wellcome Trust approached Clearleft to design the new Wellcome Library website. The site had to be capable of carrying significant amounts of content (including new digitised archive material) whilst being fully responsive on all browsing devices.

  • Fontdeck

    Fontdeck is an award winning web service which allows people to embed fonts on their website and sorts out all the fiddly bits. I worked on the Fontdeck redesign as front end developer and provided ongoing improvements to the service.
